Red iPhone 8 rumoured for this week, but don’t expect (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X yet

A leaked memo from Virgin Mobile has suggested that Apple’s collaboration with (PRODUCT)RED is set to continue with the release of iPhone 8 red

A launch at this time of the year would certainly make sense, with the red versions of the iPhone 7 having been announced in March 2017.

However, absent from the memo was any mention of a red version of the iPhone X, which suggests Apple’s flagship might not quite be ready to receive the charitable colour scheme.
